"The Three Questions" (Orlando Philharmonic Orchestra)

In this special "Symphony Storytime" series, the power of music and the beauty of storytelling are perfectly combined to bring a beloved fable to life. Enjoy live music presented by musicians of the Orlando Philharmonic Orchestra along with narration as we celebrate the wonderful art of Jon J Muth. Featuring classic works presented by our string family, students will watch and listen as the violin, viola, and cello help to accentuate the beautiful lessons in "The Three Questions."

"The Three Questions," written and illustrated by Jon J Muth, is based on a short story by Leo Tolstoy. “When is the best time to do things? Who is the most important one? What is the right thing to do?” A young boy named Nikolai searches for answers to these questions in his quest to become a better person. He consults his friends and a wise old turtle. In the story, Nikolai is led to find the answers within himself.

This special 30-minute concert will be held in the Museum’s SunTrust Auditorium. Limited number of tickets available per performance. Gallery admission is not included.

Please note: "Zen Tales: The Art of Jon J Muth" will not be available until 12:30pm on performance dates.

Both morning and afternoon options are ideal for lunch in the park after the program.
