![The older I get, the truer this feels.
Before I transferred to an arts high school where all of us underdog weirdos found each other, I lived that Josie Gross-ie loser life and was soooo sad I wasn’t popular.
I’m about a month into 40 and everyone who has done this decade says, “You’re going to love it! This is when you stop caring what people think about you.” And while my anxiety has prevented a full launch into this mindset so far, I am definitely finding that I just love a tiny community of *my people.* How about you?
